[During the opening notes of the song, the camera pans in from a bird's eye view of the city, in to a certain apartment building, lingering at a window where Kurama can be seen silhouetted against a closed blind, and finally out to where Hiei is lying in a tree across from the window, staring at the dark figure against the lighted background...]

I was angry when I met you

[Hiei remembers their first partnership, when Kurama betrayed him for his human mother...]

I think I'm angry still

[Hiei looks away in disgust, images of other stupid humans flashing before his eyes, Yuusuke, Kuwabara, Keiko...]

We can try and talk it over--

[Hiei imagines how he might explain himself to his fox...]

--If you say you'll help me out

[Hiei turns pleading eyes to the window, but the light switches off.]

Don't worry Baby, (Don't worry Baby)

[Split-screen, Kurama and Hiei both lie down and close their eyes.]

No need to fight

[Hiei scowls and fidgets restlessly in his sleep as in his dream an image of Kurama slowly resolves above him...]

[Hiei's breathing becomes quicker as the dream-fox draws the small fire-demon up in his arms and begins to kiss him...]

We'll be all right

[Inside, a mischievous smile flashes across Kurama's sleeping face.
Outside, the same Youko draws Hiei into a passionate kiss...]

This is the noise that keeps me awake

[Hiei's eyes snap wide open as he sits bolt upright.]

My head explodes and my body aches...

[The fire demon is breathing heavily, clenches his fists, teeth and eyes tight shut.]

Push it.

[Kurama's body writhes violently on the bed, turning to passionately embrace his pillow while in his dream, he and Hiei are intertwined, naked.]

Make the beats go harder...

[Hiei's eyes snap open again as he receives the same vivid images]

Push it.

[The scene becomes more graphic, more passionate]

Make the beats go harder...

[Hiei leaps frantically from his perch, dashing away into the night as images of a violent climax follow him...]

[As calmer music starts to play, Hiei skids to a halt far away, leaning with his hands on his knees to catch his breath. As his breathing steadies, he closes his eyes, remembering...]

[Back in his apartment, a satisfied smile brightens Kurama's face as he settles down into peaceful slumber.]

I'm sorry that I hurt you...

[It's several days later. Hiei is waiting outside Kurama's door, glaring at his feet.]

Please don't ask me why...

[Memories of a serious argument replay themselves in Hiei's mind, he remembers Kurama's tears...]

I want to see you happy

[Hiei looks up at the door with resolution on his face.]

I want to see you shine.

[His fingers tighten around the glistening black tear gem in his hand as he continues to watch the unmoving door.]

Don't worry Baby... (Don't worry Baby...)

[His face sinks as he realizes Kurama isn't going to let him in...]

Don't be uptight...

[The familiar angry scowl settles on his face. He pulls his fist back, ready to knock down the door...]

[He slowly lowers his hand, angry disappointment written all over his face. He turns away from the door.]

We'll stay up all night...

[Hiei streaks down the corridor and rockets out of the first open window.]

This is the noise that keeps me awake

[Cut to a new scene, Kurama's eyes flutter open, then open wide as he finds himself lying on a bed in an unfamiliar apartment.]

My head explodes and my body aches...

[Kurama clutches his head in pain, falling back helplessly onto the pillows.]

Push it.

[A tall blond man appears over Kurama, his powerful arms and legs planted around him.]

Make the beats go harder...

[He takes hold of Kurama's shoulders, begins to pull him upwards. Kurama struggles desperately, trying to push him away and break free of his grip, but is hopelessly outclassed.]

Push it.

[The man violently shakes Kurama, who falls limp as the pain in his head increases.]

Make the beats go harder...

[Kurama's head falls back, nearly unconscious, revealing two red marks on his throat. The man above him gives an evil smile, revealing two sharp fangs...

Come on push it, you can do it

[Kurama flinches as the vampire rips his shirt away, but is too weak to resist]

Come on prove it, nothing to it

[Kurama clamps his eyes shut, turning his face away as the strong, cold hands roughly explore his body]

Come on use it, let's get through it

[The vampire's mouth descends to Kurama's chest, making Kurama writhe, gathering fistfuls of sheet.]

Come on push it, you can do it

[A tear escapes Kurama's closed eyes, trailing down his chin as he despairingly mouths Hiei's name...]

Don't worry Baby...

[Cut to new scene. The tear gem dangles from its silver chain from Hiei's outstretched hand. Camera zooms out, Hiei is glaring balefully at it, cruelly disappointed.]

Don't be uptight

[The sun sets, plunging twilight into darkness. Hiei stuffs the tear gem into his scarf and looks up at Kurama's window. He raises a surprised eyebrow when he finds the window dark...]

Don't worry Baby...

[Hiei blurs and appears outside Kurama's window. He presses his face up against the glass and looks inside...]

We'll stay up all night...

[Hiei's eyes open wide as he observes the destruction inside the apartment. Furniture is thrown about, curtains ripped, plates and glasses broken on the floor. Hiei draws back, cursing, his hands balled into fists.]

This is the noise that keeps me awake

[Hiei tenses as he suddenly sees Kurama very clearly... as the vampire sinks his teeth into Kurama's throat, and Kurama's mouth opens in a silent cry of pain...]

My head explodes and my body aches...

[Hiei screams in rage, his fists clenched so tight that his palms bleed]

Push it.

[Hiei leaps from the window, drawing his sword as he does, streaking from one tree to another in a blur.]

Make the beats go harder...

[Images... Kurama's fingers curling in the sheets... Hiei snarls and runs harder, until not even a blur but just a breeze is left behind him]

This is the noise that keeps me awake (Push it.)

[Images... Kurama bites down hard on his lip to keep from crying out... Hiei's fingers tighten around the hilt of his katana until his knuckles turn white]

(Make the beats go harder...)

[Hiei skids to a halt outside a huge, black mansion, surrounded by a high stone wall. He clears it with a jump, flying upwards to crash through a window on the top floor]

My head explodes and my body aches... (Push it.)

[The broken glass showers to the floor around Hiei, Kurama and the vampire look up in shock]

(Make the beats go harder...)

[Kurama reaches out a hand to Hiei, then collapses. Hiei screams his name as the vampire draws himself up to face Hiei.]

This is the noise that keeps me awake (Push it.)

[The vampire launches a ki-ball at Hiei as the fire-demon dashes towards him, easily ducking the energy ball, sweeping in and slicing the vampire in two]

My head explodes and my body aches... (Make the beats go harder)

[The body falls to the floor in a heap and Hiei lights it on fire.]

[The music shifts. Hiei quickly scoops up Kurama and jumps out the window, narrowly escaping as the entire mansion crumbles into a pile of rubble.]

Don't worry Baby,

[By a stream deep in a forest, Hiei pours some water over Kurama's face, brushing it over his eyelids and lips]

We'll be all right...

[Kurama's eyelids flutter open, he sees Hiei and smiles, wincing slightly as Hiei gently washes the wounds on his throat.]

Don't worry Baby,

[Hiei hesitantly draws out his tear gem, Kurama's face lights up]

We'll be all right...

[Kurama grabs Hiei's extended hand and kisses it, much to the Koorime's shock. As the music picks up again, Hiei fastens the chain around Kurama's neck, missing, as he turns away slightly, the mischievous glint in the Youko's eyes...]

Push it.

[Vines burst out of the ground, pulling Hiei into Kurama's embrace]

Push it.

[Hiei struggles at first, then takes Kurama in his arms and kisses him]

Push it.

[They embrace and intertwine as the twisting vines tear away their clothes...]

Push it.

[Kurama's arms wind around Hiei's neck, the kiss becoming deeper, the couple's hands roaming...]

Push it.
